WELCOME BACK, EVERYONE!!!
It's been quite a minute, hasn't it? Well, that's because I have had my hands FULL with a ton of things, one of them being hosting THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE's GALA-FUNDRAISER which took place on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at the SONESTA EXECUTIVE PARK HOTEL here in Charlotte, North Carolina.
THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE (STA), by the way, is a Texas-based, independent, Non-Profit, Philanthropic and Community-oriented Sorority of SAKERETTES (former students of Saker Baptist College, LIMBE, CAMEROON), from around the globe.
It aspires to Inspire Women, Girls and their Families to live Productive and Meaningful lives.

The most SOLEMN and IMPACTFUL moment of the entire evening was, undisputedly, the LAUNCHING OF THE ANNUAL MARIE TAKUSI NJOWO NURSING SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, appropriately named after LATE Mrs. MARIE MARSEY NJOWO nee TAKUSI (LVN, BSN, FNP) a very dedicated, selfless and dynamic Founding Member of the Sorority who lost a fiercely and bravely fought battle with Uterine Cancer on Friday, November 17th 2023.
Right there in the hall:
The SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE (STA) itself donated $5,000Â towards the Scholarship, in their Fallen Sister's Honor.
Marie's Spouse, Mr. JOHN NJOWO, on behalf of himself and their 3 children, donated $5,000.Â
Marie's Siblings donated $1,500Â and promised - more like VOWED, to establish an ENDOWMENT FUND which will enable the SCHOLARSHIP to keep running well BEYOND our respective lifetimes!
Furthermore, other Donations raised BEFORE, DURING and SINCE the Event are SUBSTANTIAL as well and that is why STA has, with CONFIDENCE, CALLED FOR AND IS RECEIVING APPLICATIONS RIGHT NOW, ahead of the upcoming "RENTRÉE SCOLAIRE"!
