PART I: "MEET & GREET" AT THE MBUA RESIDENCE IN HOUSTON, TX (Friday, Aug. 9 2024)
PART II: SATURDAY AFTERNOON FUNERAL SERVICE (Willcrest Baptist Church - 08/10/24)
A. VIEWING
B. THE SERVICE
PART III: SATURDAY NIGHT REPAST
It was a veritable CELEBRATION of the 99-YEAR-LONG LIFE of a principled woman was the epitome of TENACITY, PERSEVERANCE, GRIT and FAITH.
A. THE ARTISTS:
The EVENT was graced by the presence of 2 very well-known and much loved Cameroonian Artists:
COMEDIAN "AUNTIE FELICIA" who honored the deceased by not only exceptionally shirking her signature "KABA" in favor of one of PRINCESS HANNAH EVENYE MBUA's but also adding one of the PRINCESS' handbags to her own "original" brown leather ("PRADA") bag. LOL!
SINGER, MUSICIAN & COMPOSER, MOLA MONGOMBE who actually composed a song specifically for the occasion!
Needless to say, BOTH did a PHENOMENAL JOB of keeping the attendees LAUGHING and DANCING away.
In fact, I am pretty sure that no one would have complained had a GATE FEE been charged!
B. THE SOLEMN CANDLE LIGHT CEREMONY:
YES, the Event was a CELEBRATION but that by no means eclipsed or erased the SPIRITUAL side of things.
It was in this spiritual light that the CANDLELIGHT segment of the program was conceived and beautifully executed, with all the emotion that went along with it:
C. PRESENTATIONS BY VARIOUS GROUPS:
More groups - CULTURAL, SOCIAL, COMMUNITY, RELIGIOUS, etc. than anyone could count or keep track of, came forward to condole with the bereaved family and offer an "envelope".
Amongst the throng were:
THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE (STA):
THE FAKO COMMUNITY:
THE CAMEROON BAPTIST MISSION "KAKANE" WOMEN:
